Today was a good day

If yesterday your dreams are crushed, tomorrow comes. -me
True story. Yesterday wasn’t the best by far, but I decided NOT to let that take control. So, I tried something new.

First, my kiddos at iCademy Global are working on hand embroidery skills. They all loved the creative peacefulness needlework provides.

This brings me to “the new” thing I tried. FREE MOTION. True to its name, it is freeing and boy, I needed that!

I can not be more in love with this aesthetic!

What fiber art do you enjoy most?

…getting a Studio space!

YEAH!! Woot!

So excited to be locating my Studio inside Homestead Campus where Innocademy and iCademy Schools meet.  You do not have to attend either school to sign up. All are welcome!

So excited to get your kids sewing again!  A blessed handful of mothers have been emailing/inboxing me about new classes and it is almost time! I will be finalizing dates and plans in the next few weeks and will pass along all info as soon as I can.

What projects are your kids working on now or want to begin?

Blessings & Breaks

As some of you know, my family and I sold our home in 3 days a few weeks ago. We are excited for the move, but that comes with a lot of things mommy needs to be in charge of on top of the normal schedule! We will be moving into our new home, not far from our current one, mid-June.  So, I declare a small break is in order!  Sewing lessons will resume in July and a schedule for fall weekly classes will be posted late-July. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to teach your children this passion of mine!

“Life is full of surprises and and serendipity. Being open to unexpected turns in the road is an important part of success. If you try to plan every step, you may miss those wonderful twists and turns. Just find your next adventure-do it well, enjoy it-and then, not now, think about what comes next.”
